Anita Barone
An actor with many talents who is mostly restricted to show-biz sitcoms TV, Anita Barone received her biggest break in the medium by playing husband to Jeff Foxworthy on "The Jeff Foxworthy Show," which ran one season on ABC between 1995 and. Barone performed on stage for the first time when she was 5 years old in Detroit after her family relocated to the city from St Louis. At the age of 23, she had appeared in more than 50 shows mostly for university productions and regional theaters. She portrayed Juliet who was a tormented nun in "Agnes of God," Helen Keller, the main character in "Monday After the Miracle"" and Juliet again in "Romeo as well as Juliet." She also played an appearance in a movie known as "Ricochet". In addition, she appeared in a scene in "The The Rosary Murders". And in 1996, she was the leading lady in an independent romantic comedy entitled "Just Friends". However, her first Hollywood role of note came as a participant in the stock company for "Carol & Company" (NBC from 1990 to 1991) which was a disastrous plan made by Carol Burnett to revive the variety/sketch comedy program. Barone was also in the 1995 USA Network movie, "Wounded Heart". She then returned to her daily sitcoms, appearing with Michael Chiklis in "Daddio" (NBC 1999).
