Maureen FitzSimons's early accomplishments in the performing arts, that are now known by the name of Maureen O'Hara, would certainly qualify her for her place in the "child prodigy" category. For a child from Irish heritage surrounded by gifted parents and family, they had innate talents. Maureen was born in Ranelagh an area in Dublin the capital of Ireland on 17 August 1920.
