Maureen Denise McCormick is the younger daughter of Richard McCormick. She was born on August 5, 1956, in Woodland Hills California. Her father taught school as did her mother, who was a homemaker. The Brady Bunch McCormick auditioned for the part of the oldest daughter in the trio of towheaded girls in The Brady Bunch. The show starred Florence Henderson, Robert Reed as well as a brand new family. The show lasted for five years. McCormick's book Heres the Story, Surviving Marcia Brady: Finding My True Voice was published in 2008. In it she revealed the fact that McCormick almost lost her virginity on stage of the show during its fifth season to Barry Williams.
